Regional Development Squad (RDS)
The FNQ Regional Development Squad is aimed at swimmers who are regularly participating in club, and regional competitions, while striving to achieve state qualifying times.
The squad focuses on the development of race technique and skills, along with the introduction of conditioning for competition.
Promotion to the Regional Development Squad is by application only based on age and meeting the entry requirement.
Eligibility
Open to all FNQ swimmers from 12 to 14 years at the last age Nationals who have qualified for state long course standard in 100m events and longer.
